Child Suffer Minor Injuries After Accident

According to the California Highway Patrol, an 8th grade student was involved in a minor accident around 7:30 AM. The child was walking to school early morning with some of his colleagues when his foot was run over by a vehicle driven by a 40-year-old driver.
The accident occurred after some children got on the road in front of a vehicle that was stopped, waiting for the children to cross before he could continue down the road. As soon as all kids passed by, the motorist decided to go but one kid who failed to look over his right shoulder continued to walk. The driver stopped the car right after its wheel had run over the child’s foot.
As a Los Angeles Injury Lawyer, I urge parents to teach their kids basic precautionary measures so they won’t be involved in preventable accidents like this. I hope this injury wasn’t major and I sincerely hope this child will be able to experience a fast and full recovery.
