A drunken driver may have caused a recent multiple-vehicle accident that happened last Wednesday on First Avenue Northeast.

According to an official memo released by the Washington State Patrol, a reckless driver was pursued on the northbound lanes of the First Avenue just before her car crossed the Northeast 107th and First intersection striking several other vehicles.

Many victims were injured and sent to different local hospitals. Authorities say the woman was intoxicated while she was driving.
